Midsummer [a play with songs] by David Greig & Gordon McIntyre
About the Play
Exhilarating you float out laughing as if youve just swallowed sunshine on a spoon. The Guardian
Two strangers meet in a bar. She's totally out of his league; he's not her type at all. They absolutely should not sleep together, definitely not after this much wine. But they do.
In the early morning light they part ways, but are reunited in a chance encounter when they are both a bit desperate. From there, they begin a legendary lost weekend - full of hangovers, ruined weddings, a bag of stolen money, Goth kids, Japanese rope bondage and maybe love!
