Black Swan's production of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest is set in Victorian-era London, around the late 1890's. This time period was full of indulgence and luxury when it came to fashion and lifestyle, and recreating this extravagence on stage is a big job. Everything on stage, from the tea trays and chaises to ladies' hats and furs, has been meticulously chosen and in some cases made.

Black Swan has recently restructured our Young Writers Program and will be replacing it with a new program in 2013 called the Emerging Writers Group! The program will be led by Damon Lockwood, Black Swan's Literary Manager.
