Black Swan State Theatre Company is pleased to announce two appointments: Monique Beaudoire as Partnerships Manager, and Maria Sioulas as Marketing and Audience Development Manager.
Monique Beaudoire makes her return to Black Swan with this position - from 2005 to 2006 she held the position of Sales and Marketing Coordinator at the company. From 2006 to 2008 Monique was employed as the Corporate Relations Coordinator of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. During this time she contributed to the growth and service of the States most significant arts partnership portfolio, as well as the philanthropic and membership program. Since 2008, Monique has been the Development Manager at the Perth International Arts Festival and was responsible for the Festivals sponsorship, funding and philanthropic portfolio, which attracted over $12 million in 2013.
From 2011 until its wind up in 2012, Monique was a member of the Board of Directors of ThinIce Productions, a progressive young theatre company committed to producing innovative works by Artistic Director Matthew Lutton. From 2011 to 2012 Monique sat on the State Steering Committee for Act Belong Commit, a health promotion campaign that encourages individuals to take action to protect and promote their own mental wellbeing. Monique is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Barking Gecko Theatre Company.
Maria Sioulas is a dedicated arts professional with 15 years experience in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in managing marketing campaigns and developing and maintaining key stakeholder relations. She comes to this role from Celebrate WA where she was managing and increasing the visibility of their corporate partnerships and contributed to the successful delivery of several high profile community events for WA Day.
Prior to this position Maria was Marketing & Sponsorship Manager at West Australian Opera for almost 4 years; involved in repositioning the company's brand, developing creative marketing campaigns and initiating new audience development strategies. Over her career, Maria has also worked in marketing and events at organisations including Curtin University and the Perth International Arts Festival.

Monique commenced with the company on June 23 and Maria will commence on July 7.
