Cloudstreet- Emotive Content

Black Swan endeavours to make theatre that is fun and entertaining, spirited and moving; with twists and turns that inspire conversation and reflection. However, we also know that sometimes theatre can contain moments that may be distressing for some individuals.

We do our best to let you know in advance regarding the content of our productions. However, its important to be aware that things may change at the last minute, including in preview performances. Our website always carries the most up to date content and production information as it is advised.

We also let you know of any content warnings in our pre-show reminders that are sent to the ticket-purchaser - sign up to our emails if you are not already receiving them. We will also advise of production content in your programme and via signage at the theatre when you visit.

If there are certain themes you know may cause extreme distress to yourself, or someone you know, please check our website for the latest information. Alternatively, please don’t hesitate to call one of the Black Swan team to find out more. You can call us at 08 6212 9300 or email information@bsstc.com.au. We’re available Monday – Friday 10:00 – 5:00pm.
