The Standard

Located across three levels with indoor and outdoor dining, The Standard is an Asian influenced bar and eatery delivering amplified flavours, handcrafted cocktails and the soundtrack to support.

The Standard offers all Black Swan Friend cardholders 10% on the final bill.

The Royal Hotel

The Royal is the ultimate inner-city destination for long lunches and dinner retreats for those searching for atmosphere, comfort, and quality food. With a wrap-around balcony and pool table, the menu consists of elevated pub favourites and an ever-changing drinks list.

Willi's Wine Bar

Tucked beneath the Royal Hotel, Willi's Wine Bar invites you to explore a mix of old-world-meets-new grapes sourced locally and from the European regions of afar. Their wine list is ever-changing or simply dive into their cocktail menu for Willi’s-style classics. It is the ideal spot for a quality drink and meal.

Shadow Wine Bar

Alex Hotel’s wine bar and dining room takes its inspiration from the strong food traditions brought to Northbridge by waves of European immigrants.

From a cheeky glass at lunch to an afternoon aperitivo or something a little more serious after dark, located at 214 William Street, Shadow Wine Bar is open daily Tuesday – Saturday, 12pm – Late.

Mechanics' Institute

Nestled amongst the heritage rooftops of Northbridge, you’ll find the award-winning Mechanics’ Institute bar. Offering its patrons an escape from the everyday bustle of the streets below, Mechanics’ is a small bar that’s big on fun.

Open daily Tuesday – Sunday, Mechanics’ Institute is located at 222 William Street.

Chicho Gelato

Chicho Gelato are making waves in Northbridge with their fresh gelato, dairy free and vegan flavours that are churned each morning using local fruits and produce! Flavours range from the classic Hazelnut from Piemonte to the Cinnamon Maple Pecan, Malted Milk Cornflake Cookie and seasonal sorbets like Blood Orange and Guava Yuzu. This is not an ice-cream shop - this is a new wave gelato phenomenon.
